How to make BUCATINI pasta with homemade pesto sauce

The BUCATINI are a typical Sicilian pasta and it is a pasta similar to a spaghetto, but it is characterized by having a hole in the middle, they are ideal to prepare with creamy cheese sauces, aromatic herbs or homemade tomato sauce

Today we will prepare it with a HOMEMADE GENOVESE PESTO, accompanied by Cherry tomatoes and grana padano cheese chips.

  • 1. We heat plenty of salty water
    2. When the water is boiling add the pasta, stirring from time to time, cook for the time indicated on the package (pasta al dente)
    3. While it is cooking, heat our homemade pesto sauce with a little of the pasta cooking water in a wide skillet
    4. Drain the pasta al dente
    5. Sauté the pasta in the pan, if necessary we can add a little more pasta cooking water to better bind the sauce.
    6. Plate, decorate with cut tricolor cherry tomatoes and grana padano chips
