How to make baked provolone cheese

This delicious oven-baked ITALIAN CHEESE gratin with cherry tomatoes and fresh chilli is a colorful and fun appetizer to share with some homemade toasted bread or focaccia

Instructions
 

  • 1. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half along with some fresh basil leaves
    2. Cut half a fresh hot chilli pepper into very thin slices
    3. Place the tomatoes, chillies and provolone cheese in an earthenware container, decorate with tomatoes or fresh oregano
    4. Bake in a hot oven for 6/8 minutes at 200 °C / 392 °F until the desired gratin is achieved
    5. Carefully remove the oven trays and serve with homemade toasted bread or focaccia
