How to make margarita pizza in 2 hours

Today we will prepare a homemade margarita pizza dough with the direct method, which consists of mixing all the ingredients at the same time until we get a smooth dough without lumps, we will get a thin and crispy pizza in 2 hours to enjoy with our friends and family.

This type of dough, if not all the quantity is used, can be frozen in portions, as well as being very versatile: it can be used to wrap food and bake it together, replace puff pastry in savory recipes

  • FOR THE MASS
    1. We dissolve the yeast in the water and put it in the container of our mixer together with the flour and the oil
    2. We knead at medium speed for 5-7 minutes
    3. Add the salt and continue kneading for another 10 minutes, until you get a smooth dough without lumps.
    4. We dump our dough on the table and knead it a little with our hands
    5. We form a cylinder and divide our dough into 5/6 portions (in 5 portions of 320 GR if we like the dough more spongy or in 6 portions of 270 GR if we like it thinner and crispier)
    6. We will store our pizza balls away from drafts at a temperature of 22 °C-24 °C until they double in size in 1:30 / 2 hours.
    OUR DOUGH IS READY
    1. Sprinkle our dough with corn semolina so that it does not stick and with the help of a rolling pin we will stretch until we obtain a dough 3/4 millimeters thick and about 30 centimeters in diameter
    2. We will adjust a little, move it and put a baking paper on top
    3. For the margarita pizza: add the tomato sauce and mozzarella and bake with heat up and down at 250 °C/ 482 °F for 6-8 minutes
    4. For the pizza with stuffed edges: on the edges we will place 2 cm squares of mozzarella and fresh basil
    5. We close the edges from the outside inwards, tightening the end a little
    6. Place a little of our special homemade tomato sauce in the center
    7. Bake THE VOLCANIC STONE ON TOP in a hot oven for 8/9 minutes at maximum power 250°C / 482°F
    8. We take out our pizza and add fresh buffalo mozzarella, arugula and Parma ham
