How to make apple strudel with cinnamon

The APPLE STRUDEL is a typical dessert from northern Italy, where the best apples are produced is Trentino Alto Adige.   • 1. Soak the raisins in rum or water
    2. Peel and cut the apples into medium/small pieces (size of 1 hazelnut)
    3. With a mortar we cut the savoiardi biscuits into pieces
    4. In a bowl, mix the apples, melted butter, sugar, toasted pine nuts, walnuts, drained raisins, lemon and orange zest, chopped biscuits, and cinnamon.
    5. We open our puff pastry or brise dough on a flat surface
    6. In the middle, leaving 2 cm free on the outer sides, distribute the filling evenly
    7. We start rolling from the longest side and we end up closing the sides, leaving the part where the dough has gathered downwards
    8. Brush with melted butter or egg yolk
    9. Bake on a tray lined with baking paper for 25 / 30 minutes at 200 °C / 392 °F
    10. Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with cinnamon and icing sugar
