How to Make Caprese Savory Potato Pie

Caprese potatoes are a delicious side dish or a light vegetarian second course. Baking the potato cake in advance and keeping it in the fridge will allow us to enjoy a delicious quick dinner, when we get home tired with little desire to cook.

  • 1. We place thin slices of potatoes in the mold lined with baking paper
    2. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan, fresh cut mozzarella, oregano and homemade tomato sauce
    3. We repeat until completing 3 layers
    4. We press a little so that it is very compact
    5. Bake for 30 minutes until the desired gratin is achieved at 356 ºF
    6. We wait for it to cool down, unmold and decorate with tomatoes, Cherry and pistachio granola
